About the Role
Burn is actively seeking a highly competent Sales Operations Officer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. This position holds the key responsibility of steering the company towards achieving its sales targets through meticulous coordination and operational oversight.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Data Reconciliation:
- Ensure comprehensive filling of sales data, including registration, manual Sno tracking docs, and payment references, in the designated systems.
- Collaborate with the Sales Operations Manager (SOM) to address any discrepancies in the reconciliation of missing data.
Monitoring Sales Agents’ Productivity:
- Utilize available dashboards to monitor the daily productivity of sales agents across all channels in the market.
- Compare performance against established metrics and present a weekly analyzed productivity report to the SOM and the commercial team.
PJP (People Journey Planning) Oversight:
- Ensure all PJPs in the market, including those of Sales agents, Team leaders, and Territory Sales Managers, are completed and approved by the relevant supervisors.
- Consolidate PJP data and share relevant reports with the SOM and commercial team.
- Oversee ongoing PJP monitoring for all agents in the market.
- Ensure supervisors submit relevant reports, sharing PJP performance reports in the appropriate formats/templates with the SOM.
Remuneration Structure Administration:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date performance data for all dashboards in the market.
- Verify commission data with RSM/TSM/TLs before sharing performance with the SOM and commercial leads for remuneration approval.
Reconciliation & Verification of Trade Spend:
- Assure trade spending aligns with approved PJPs.
- Manage monthly reconciliation of trade spend in the market by TLs, TSMs, and RSMs.
- Prepare reports for the SOM and commercial leads as per relevant SOPs (within 30 days after the end of the month).
Training Gaps Analysis:
- Support the training officer, TSM, and RSM in identifying training gaps within the commercial teams through data analysis.
Skills and Experience
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales operations, sales support, or a related field.
Knowledge of Sales Processes:
- Understanding of sales processes, lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting, and deal closure.
- Familiarity with sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Strong analytical skills for working with large datasets to identify trends and insights.
- Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and business intelligence software.
Sales Enablement and Support:
- Experience in developing and implementing sales enablement programs, tools, and processes.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure seamless sales operations.
CRM Systems and Technology:
- Proficiency in working with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with sales-related technologies and forecasting software.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Portuguese.
- Ability to interact effectively with sales teams, executives, and cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving and Process Improvement:
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline sales operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing complex sales challenges.
Adaptability and Flexibility:
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, organizational changes, and new technologies.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
